These terms govern your use of the AptSpeak website and services. Please read them before using the site.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, booking a session, or otherwise using AptSpeak, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree to them, please don’t use the site.

2. What we offer

AptSpeak provides communication and English coaching for tech professionals and the teams they work with. This currently includes:

• 1:1 coaching sessions for individual professionals;
• cohort-based training for outsourcing firms and companies; and
• free resources — the blog, podcast, and learning materials on this site.

3. Your account

If you create an account, you agree to:

• give us accurate information when you sign up;
• keep your login credentials secure and not share them with anyone else; and
• keep to one account per person — accounts are personal and not transferable.

You’re responsible for anything that happens under your account, so let us know right away at lekaipan259@gmail.com if you think someone else has access to it.

4. Acceptable use

When using the site, you agree not to:

• break any applicable law;
• try to gain unauthorized access to the site, other accounts, or our systems;
• interfere with or disrupt the site, or attempt to overload it; or
• use the site to harass, abuse, or harm anyone else.

5. Content and ownership

All content on this site — including articles, podcast episodes, and downloadable learning materials such as worksheets and phrase banks — is owned by AptSpeak (or used with permission), and is protected by copyright.

You may use and download this content for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may not resell, redistribute, or publish it elsewhere, or use it to create a competing product or service, without our prior written permission.

6. Bookings, payment, and cancellations

Sessions are booked separately, through Calendly. The specific price, payment, cancellation, and rescheduling terms for a session are the ones shown to you and agreed at the time you book it, and take priority over anything general said here.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

We do our best to provide a useful, reliable service, but the site and its content are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don’t guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, or that coaching will lead to any specific outcome.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AptSpeak will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or services. This doesn’t limit any liability that can’t be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we’ll post the updated terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Slovakia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
